TO GO BACK OUTSIDE
Now that the measures have been eased a bit, we can finally fill our agendas with other activities. Admittedly, walking the dog or going jogging in the woods is nice, but after the last 2 months we long for something else.

The measures may be less strict, but not everything is allowed yet. Do you feel like you need to get out of your house, but don't have the faintest idea what to do? Have you thought about the following?

1. Go the bookstore and read a new book or magazine

Many of us have (re)discovered reading and now is the perfect time to complement your reading. Don't feel like buying books? The library is a good alternative for you. On your visit, you might come across an old acquaintance and you'd rather not be spotted in ugly sweat pants or that worn-out T-shirt.

A silk skirt makes you look dressed up and paired with a cool shirt and cute accessories you're ready-to-go. With your new reading you can chill at home on the couch or in the backyard in the sun.

2. Go to the weekly market in your village or town

Grocery shopping in the supermarket has become a very stressful thing the past few months, if you ask me. We’re all familiar with the frustrations during a quick visit to the supermarket.

In need of a different setting? Try going to the weekly market in your neighbourhood. You might as well do your shopping there and in the open air. With the right outfit you'll immediately feel like you're on holiday, but with less people and therefore more opportunity to keep your distance.

3. Organize a clothing swap with a good friend

A lot of you probably have spring cleaned their wardrobe and maybe donated a bag of clothes to the thrift shop. Or maybe you’ve got a few clothing items you know your friend likes and vice versa. This is a perfect time to organize a clothing swap at your home – with respect for the corona bubble of course. To keep it as safe as possible, you can show the pieces to each other in advance through video chat and already make a small selection.

Your friends know you through and through, but dressing up at home can certainly never hurt. A nice maxi dress and slippers are convenient when you want to quickly try something on.

selection 3

After the swap session you can order take-away together and have a nice chat, for example about that one dress you saw online for that planned wedding (because attending a wedding is now also allowed) and you would love to try it on in the store. A golden tip, don't forget to throw your new pieces in the washer before you wear them!
Keep it safe and have fun!
