LolaLiza collaborated with Montana Engels, a Belgian contemporary artist who mainly makes portraits. We wanted to do something unique to celebrate this day, something that would have a special meaning. Finally, we decided to make a mural of female icons. No better way to celebrate women than with LolaLiza!

10 inspiring women

Montana took care of the artwork and we chose 10 female icons that would be featured on the mural. 10 inspiring women who wrote history in their own way. Whether it was in fashion, science, art, literature or music,, there was no industry they didn’t conquer. Grace Kelly, Marie Curie, Frida Kahlo, Komako Kimura, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie Kennedy, Virginia Woolf, Ella Fitzgerald and Coco Chanel. Just say their names and everybody immediately knows who these wonderful women are. International Women’s Day was the perfect day to pay tribute to these women!

The mural has been revealed on Thursday 7 March for press and influencers.
