What is sustainability for Lolaliza?

At LolaLiza we want to go green together! Take care of our planet and the people living on it. And that is exactly what sustainability is about. Being considerate about the planet and her people. Therefore we closely follow technical innovations, which we believe will be the solution to many of the environmental challenges. As such we offer a range of products in different sustainable materials.

Bottom line: we want to create fashion more consciously. In that way we want to contribute to take care of our planet and the people living on it.

What are LolaLiza's sustainability objectives?

Sustainability is a challenge in our industry and in the world. At LolaLiza we have established a long-term sustainable strategy to achieve the different goals per season. One of those approaches is that we strive to expand our assortment with sustainable products. We want to do so by using better materials.

Another approach is to mainly work with close countries which reduces CO2 emissions. Besides that our business model is based on less commitment, so less stock which avoids the overproduction. This means that we really listen to the buying behaviour of our clients. At LolaLiza we also maintain good communication with the manufacturers and work together as partners.

How would you describe the Eco-friendly collection?

When we make the choice of fabrics for a new collection, we balance different sustainability aspects such as eco-friendly fabrics and sustainable fabrics. Currently, we use environmentally- friendly textiles made from sustainable grown fibre crops. We seek to increase the share of sustainable fabrics continuously within our next collections.

Besides eco-friendly fabrics, we use Environmental Impact Measuring Software (EIM) for our denim washes which measures and reduces the negative effect of treatment processes on our planet. We achieve low impact washing which means less water, less energy and less chemical.

How can I distinguish LolaLiza’s sustainable products from non-sustainable products?

The sustainable collection will be eco-labelled.
