Myra Nurski

Who are you?

I am case manager MMBSY, a PR and content agency with a focus on media and lifestyle. I myself have a great passion for fashion, strong storytelling and everything that makes life more beautiful, enjoyable and memorable. I studied fashion management and merchandising at the Italian fashion school Polimoda and did internships with Veronique Branquinho and Natan. After my studies, I took over the Antwerp PR agency Media Mania with Mie Van der Auwera and Duval Union, which became MMBSY in 2018. This was followed by expansions such as the creation of MMBSY Amsterdam and MMPRESS, an agency specialising in corporate communications.

Interested in fashion?

Given my background and education, you could say that I have a strong passion for fashion. I have been obsessed with it since I was a child and have pursued an education in fashion management and merchandising. I also interned at Veronique Branquinho and Natan and I am very proud to be a jury member for the LolaLiza Fashion School.

What is the biggest fashion blunder you have ever committed?

I was once dressed as an Indian at a fancy dress party where the theme was witches. I stood out quite a bit...

What trend do you miss?

Statement accessories.

What will be the main trends of 2024?

Red will be an important trend colour. Furthermore, we see trends becoming more and more fluid. Femininity and masculinity are being played with and the line between the two is becoming increasingly blurred. Business grey metallic fabrics also make an appearance and (faux) leather continues to do well next season.

Which recent and not so recent fashion icons inspire you?

I am and will always be a big Alexa Chung fan!
