At LolaLiza, we are actively working on sustainability and together we can make a difference.
As of 20/02 you can bring your old denim to one of our LolaLiza stores and receive a discount voucher of € 10 in exchange.
For this project we are working together with Terre ASBL.
They give clothing a second life and thereby reduce the amount of waste that seems to accumulate itself endlessly. Specialized in sorting and exporting second-hand clothing,
they, just like us, want to contribute and be more aware of the mass consumption in which we are all involved.
They help create sustainable jobs, reduce waste and guarantee an ecological, economic and social added value to our society.
Together with Terre ASBL, we strive for a more sustainable future so we can make the world a safe place for our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
What happens with the clothes you donate ?
Once the clothes have been collected, they are sorted in different categories by type, quality and material. 56% of these are reused, 27% are recycled and 16% are eliminated. Almost 36,000 tons of textiles are collected annually by Terre ABSL, 85% of which is recycled. The profits are reinvested in solidarity projects in own country but also internationally.
