CAN YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF SHORTLY?

My name is Christine Caufriez and, like two of my sisters, I got breast cancer a few years ago. Although it was a shock, I fought to beat the disease. And it worked.

My daughter has nominated me for this award. She wanted to put the spotlight on my battle against this disease. It is a wonderful gesture and I am very grateful for it.

HOW CAN WOMEN SUPPORT EACH OTHER?

To use a familiar saying, I think "unity is strength." I think women should come together and assist each other. Creating that sense of unity starts by sharing moments. This can be done through encouragement, motivational words, etc. By doing activities together, they can share their good and bad experiences.

This can be done easily at work, but also during exercise. Essential is that these moments revolve around sharing and exchanging positive and negative experiences.

WHO IS YOUR INSPIRING WOMAN?

This may surprise you, but there is no woman that particularly inspires me. On the contrary, I think everyone can be an example to everyone for various reasons. So finally, all women inspire me in their own way!

WHAT IS THE BEST ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?

One day I was told that I had to think more about myself. Easier said than done! But I think it's actually good advice. It's not about being selfish, far from it! Just think of yourself and take care of yourself.

WHAT’S YOUR POWER LOOK, WHAT LOOK DO YOU WEAR TO CONQUER THE WORLD?

Because I don't like to show my legs, the choices are quite limited. I always wear trousers. And that's how I feel most at ease. This is the most important thing, right?

WHICH IMPORTANT MESSAGE WOULD YOU LIKE TO GIVE OTHER WOMEN?

Don't forget to think about yourself! Even if you have a tendency to get caught up in the hectic pace of life, take care of yourself first.
